In the frame of the EADS Space Transportation restructuring
in 2003, Lampoldshausen was nominated the centre of competence
for European satellite propulsion. Consequently, the propulsion
systems for the Eurostar E 3000 communication satellites is
now produced at Lampoldshausen.
Already, Lampoldshausen have delivered the Eurostar 3011
and Eurostar 3013 propulsion modules to EADS Great Britain
for integration into the spacecraft structures. Further propulsion
modules have been ordered by SES Global for Astra 1 M, and
by Telesat Canadav for NIMIQ 4.
